Shootflying Hill Sauce Company was inspired by a street the client enjoyed visiting on Cape Cod. She wanted to incorporate the street sign into the logo and packaging. Beyond that concept, she was very open to my ideas. I incorporated swirls in the background to pay homage to old-fashioned ice cream parlors. We used an accent color on the packaging to define the flavor. I had looked forward to a whole line of colors to come – a light green for mint, red for spicy chocolate. My eyes were a bit larger than the budget for the product line and the project. It was a fun one!
